Mini crochet hat

I was trying to make another hat and it shrunk! Maybe a baby hat, but it's not really baby yarn. Doll hat? Bowl?

Striped blue hat

I finished this hat at a conference last week. I had to start over because the crown was too wavy, but then it came out right.

Crochet bags

This is what happens when I go to a conference. I hope the middle schoolers will appreciate their bounty at prize-time.

Knitted/crochet purple/blue bag

I had two pieces of knitting, one big and one small. I folded the big one over to make a purse and crocheted on the small pieces for a flap. I simultaneously crocheted up the sides and added a handle. It's not a really strong handle, so if you put anything heavy in it it will probably sag badly.

Crochet bag - bits and pieces

For reasons I am unsure of, I made a bunch of small crocheted strips. I hooked them all together and used more leftover bits to make a textured bag. Part of my "finish all the bits" projects.

Knit/crochet bag

This is a piece of knitting crocheted closed and with a crochet handle. It's about a foot long and maybe 7 inches wide. Still finishing off projects from the cupboards!

I whipped up this little green and white bag to hold a couple things in my outreach bag. 

Muffin bag

I crocheted a muffin bag. I just like the shape of it! The bottom was a sort of rounded square, then I decreased and added a kind of tunnel. The top has loops so you can drawstring it closed.

This is a bag I made to replace the one I haul my kindle and charging cord around in on occasion. I made the basic rectangle, then a second free-standing rectangle and hooked it across to make a pocket.

Whipped this up for my little mini business cards.

Crocheted thing

About 8 years ago, in graduate school, I started crocheting a striped scarf. It was a rather boring class and it kept growing until I realized that it was either the world's longest scarf or the beginning of a blanket. I decided it was a blanket and promised it to my sister. Fast forward eight years and I am STILL working on it. But no more. I have decided it is a two-person very long throw/shrug/thing and it is as big as it is going to get. I am just crocheting a simple cream border and then my sister can figure out how to take it home when she comes to visit. She will never be cold again.

You can see the size of this from my hand. The "handle" is just a little crocheted bit, not a loop.

Envelope Bag

This is my new purse, I call it an envelope style. I made the strap really long so I could wear it across. Some people say these are Christmas colors. I do not agree.
