Other crafty things I did instead of things I could have been, and probably should have been, doing

Origami stars. I am cleaning out my misc. stash in the living room. 

Communication can now commence

I made a cake

I borrowed a pan and made a lemon cream cake. Tastes basically like lemon pound cake. Now I'm vaguely obsessed with adding lemon zest to things. I took it to work for my aide's birthday.

Mini quilts

I finished binding off a set of mini quilts. These are from 6 to 4 inches

Daffodil quilt

Finally finished binding this off. It's about 18 inches square.

Strawberry muffins

I used the recipe from Good Housekeeping for blueberry muffins and just used strawberries instead of blueberries. Seems to work fine. I will make some more and freeze them.

Cinnamon Strawberry muffins

Ok, I realize the picture is of bread but I actually made most of it into mini muffins. I got this from Everyday Reading. I think I didn't mash the strawberries enough and it turned out to taste a little more....bland? than I expected. But everyone liked them. I don't know that I'd make them again but they weren't bad.
