Around the world quilt in progress

I'm still cutting 3" squares for this. I want to do an Around the World pattern. This is what I've cut so far, and organized roughly into color sequences, although I'll probably change them as I keep cutting. At some point I'm going to have to do some kind of math too probably.

Cabbage flower quilt in progress

This will be a spin-off from Posy Power block no. 542, pg. 278, from Quiltmaker's 1,000 blocks. I cut out the flowers and I'm going to piece plain colors around them. I haven't decided what colors to use yet - the original uses light and medium greens - but I'll look at what I have and then decide. They won't all be equal-sized squares.

Boxed in flannel quilts in progress

This is taken from Quiltmaker's 1,000 blocks, Boxed In, Block no. 609, pg. 312. I've got pieces cut for two variations, one darker (bugs, foxes, dark pink strips) and one lighter (bunnies, pastel foxes, cream strips).

Flowered flannel quilt in progress

I worked through a couple plans for this - it's 5" flowered flannel squares surrounded by colored flannel strips.

Getting ready for fall in the garden

 

Cleared out some morning glories on the left, now the entry looks more balanced. There will be a pot with a smaller plant/flowers behind the post next year.

Bee butt. The squash is still blooming away.

Sack Dress

 First try at a dress. It was basically two pieces of knit fabric sewn together. The neckline only works if I'm not wearing a bra, so not ideal for work lol.
