Galison houseplant jungle

This was 1,000 pieces - I took it to work afterwards, I actually liked doing it, but Galison pieces aren't always cut as well as they might be and I didn't want to do it again.

500 piece puzzles

I can do these in an evening or a couple hours - they're kind of relaxing.

The Charley Harper one is from my previous neighbor's stash in the basement, which she left for us when she moved. The blue sides are tricky b/c they're not well-cut and I had to redo it several times - I'd do this one from the inside out next time.

Ravensburger path to west arbor

Did this one in a few days. My mom asks if I REALLY want more puzzles and yes, I can do them fairly quickly while listening to audiobooks. I'm trying to get going on other projects again, but the puzzles are still calling me.

Bits & Pieces: Ninety-Nine Butterflies

I don't think there's REALLY ninety-nine butterflies in this, but I didn't count. The edge was very tricky, b/c it's basically a repeating pattern that is identical, and then a lot of the butterflies have similar colors... I worked on it on and off in the evenings while listening to audiobooks and finished it in about a month I think. Maybe two months. It's not particularly creative, but it's all I can handle right now.

Bag

I was doing misc. projects a few weeks ago, in addition to working on quilts. I whipped up a bag with this outdoor fabric.

Bandanas

I dunno what you'd call these. Head scarfs sounds weird. Basically, I use them to keep all the bits of hair out of my face when I'm driving with the windows down or working in the garden, or just don't want to bother brushing my hair...

Red Hazelwood Stars part 1

This is from I Love Star Blocks by Karen Burns. The original pattern calls for a variety of colors, and I am going to do that, but I started with a whole bunch of red. It made a lap quilt about 4x5 feet. It's not quite done - I still need to add a border, backing, and quilt it.

Skirt with ruffle

I had partially made this one months ago and just finished it now.

Chair cushion

I sewed this cushion, with an elastic strap, to put on the top of my chair. I tested it at several points, so it should be just right for my head, although I can't use it when my hair is up in clips.

Finishing projects

I finished sewing the hem on a skirt I shortened for mom and sewed up three potpourri bags.
